'If you’re travelling by the Tejas Express to visit your loved ones this Ganeshotsav, the Indian Railway Catering and Transport Corporation (IRCTC) plans to make your trip a little sweeter. Now, you can feast on Ukadiche Modak — a popular Maharashtrian delicacy served during Ganeshotsav. Made of steamed rice flour, stuffed with a combination of coconut and jaggery, the traditional sweet is considered to be Lord Ganesha’s favourite food. After the Tejas Express was launched by railway minister Suresh Prabhu on May 21, it became popular among passengers owing to its infotainment systems and automatic doors.
