'Ireland’s First National Food Systems Dialogue - Sustainable Food Systems & Ireland’s 2030 Agri-Food'

'The RDS has partnered with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine on a series of four online National Dialogues on Ireland’s Food System. These Dialogues form part of Ireland’s engagement for the United Nations (UN) Food Systems Summit which will be held in September and it will also build on the work of the RDS to promote climate-smart agriculture.  This first National Dialogue will focus on Sustainable Food Systems and Ireland’s 2030 Agri-Food Strategy. This Dialogue will be chaired by Ms Sinéad McPhillips, National Dialogues Convener, and will open with a keynote address by Dr Martin Frick, Deputy Special Envoy to the Food Systems Summit. This address will be followed by two panel discussions on:   • Ireland’s Food Systems Approach: A View from Home and Internationally • Environmental and Economic Sustainability: Synergies and Trade-Offs  #FoodSystems  #RDSClimateSmart'
