'Sue Mallick with Food City prepares Cheese and Ham Spirals at the Tasteful Creation Cooking School held every Monday Night at Food City Crown Point in Kingsport, TN. Ingredients: 1 egg, 1 tbsp water, 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, 8 slices thin sliced ham Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat egg and water until blended, set aside. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface, roll into 14 x 10 rectangle; cut in half lengthwise. Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle 3 tbsp of cheese and pepper evenly over 1 half, cover with ham slices. Place remaining pastry slice over ham. Roll gently with rolling pin to seal. Brush with additional egg wash. Roll up tightly starting with long side. Cut into 24 slices, place cut-side down, on parchment covered baking sheet. Brush with remaining egg wash and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, cool and serve.'
