'Humerus Rotation - Archery Specific Exercise'

'Humerus Rotation - Archery Specific Exercise'

'This particular Archery specific exercise is designed specifically to increase the flexibility and strength of the muscles that are responsible for rotating the humerus bone inside the shoulder joint. By increasing the range of motion in this particular movement an archer is better able to position their arm alignment without compromising a desired low and wide scapula position. It is very common for archers to roll one or both shoulders up towards the neck (demonstrated in the video) in order to gain the arm alignment needed to execute a reasonable shot. This exercise will be of particular use to archers who struggle with clearance (bow string hitting inside of elbow) and archers who struggle to lift the draw side elbow up and back into correct alignment without crunching the scapula position.'
