'A 40-year-old Plymouth mother of two has been named America\'s \"Next Fitness Star\" by Women\'s Health magazine. Stacie Clark beat out thousands of other applicants for the title after submitting a short video earlier this year. This spring, Women\'s Health named Clark a top five finalist, and on Wednesday, Clark learned she was the winner during a live appearance on NBC\'s \"Today\" show. \"It will allow me the platform to have a voice to inspire,\" Clark told 12 News via a phone interview from New York City. Clark is no stranger to motivating others. She and her husband run Tiger Fit, a boutique training and fitness studio in Plymouth. As America\'s \"Next Fitness Star,\" Clark will be featured in Women\'s Health magazine and featured in a DVD series. It\'s a chance for Clark to share her fitness message on a national stage. \"Get fit, be fit, and stay fit for life,\" said Clark. \"It\'s a lifestyle for me and my family, and I just want to be able to influence others to make the change.\" Clark\'s advice for those who say they don\'t have enough time to exercise is: make the time. \"That is the first step, just get going, just get going, and make it fun,\" said Clark.
