Your value proposition (if you even have one)  isn\'t attractive enough and doesn\'t give your prospects a good enough reason why they should work with you.  In this video I\'m going to share with you How to Attract and Retain Personal Training Clients through the use of an attractive value proposition.  I\'m going to cover what a value proposition actually is, why you need one and how you can create one for your fitness business.  Hey, Tom here from PT Mastermind, thanks for joining me today.  Remember what I said at the start of this video?   \"Long hours, small pay, constant no shows. I love training, but the struggle to keep clients is tough.\"  These are the exact words that Jane, a trainer in the US used in an email she sent me last night.   I felt sorry for her.   It\'s kinda sad to hear people like Jane that are struggling to make ends meet trying to do something they love.   Something is going wrong and this something is, of course, her MARKETING.  And more specifically her value proposition....I\'ll get to what this is in a sec.   But it\'s not entirely her fault.  After all, where\'s the marketing module in your certification training?   NO-WHERE TO BE SEEN!   It\'s obvious that Jane\'s value proposition and positioning of her services doesn\'t resonate with her market and solve their pain.   My guess is that she\'s trying to market to everyone while attracting no-one.   BAD STRATEGY!    In order to attract people to your business, charge the prices you want and create an effortless stream of leads you NEED a clear and concise Value Proposition. So what is a value proposition?   Your Value Prop. clearly identifies WHO you work with, what PAIN you solve, the BENEFITS of your solution and WHY they should choose you.  Let me give you an example of what not to do with your value proposition:   \"we are passionate about fitness and we will help anyone looking to improve their general health. Whatever your current fitness level, the benefits of feeling fitter and healthier can only enhance your quality of life.\"  Not specific, no benefits, no reason why.    Here\'s a good example of a value proposition.   I want to share the PT Mastermind value proposition statement with you, please bear in mind this can be re-worded and moulded into a headline, sub-head and bullet points.  Anyway here it is. So how can you create one for your business?  Well here are my 3 top tips for creating an attractive value proposition:  1.  Define your market - who do you want to work with 2.  Find their pain - what challenges are your prospects and clients trying to overcome - ask them!  3. Create a value prop that identifies with your market, solves their problem, and gives them a reason why they should give you their money.
