I almost forget that I am wearing it. You have the option to wear it on the wrist, ankle, or as a necklace. I also purchase the Speedo lap counter for my Misfit. It works great. The user interface is simple, just one tap, two taps or three taps of the face. The 12 LED tells you the status of your activities and time. The time is an approximation, it can be + or - 5 minutes. The device is made of metal but it can fall off the band during your activities. Mine fell off to the bottom of the swimming pool twice when my arm hit the rope. I brought a different wristband that covered the whole device and the problem was solved. It is powered by a Li coin battery and I love it because I don\'t need to worry about recharging. The battery will last more than 1/2 of year.  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------  I have been wearing a Shine 24/7 since 2003. Beyond daily wear, I just recently ran over the thing with my car and there\'s still nothing wrong with it beyond scratches from... running over it with my car, I just wanted to step up to the next model so I jumped at the reduced price of the Shine 2 on Prime Day. I already know that I will wear this one for many years to come. The Shine\'s sleep tracker helped me determine what medication worked best to help with my restless leg. It\'s accuracy has been just as good, if not better, than the Fitbit products I also tried. Because of my small frame the apple watch is still too bulky and although I know an apple watch is so much more than an activity tracker so is it\'s pricetag, this suits my needs.
