'Smith Machine Overhead Shoulder Press - Shoulders Exercise  Download the app: https://mytraining.pro/  Read our community blog: http://friends.mytraining.pro/  (Starting Position)   To begin, place a bench with back support in the center of a Smith machine. Then, sit down with your head positioned slightly in front of the bar.   With your back straight and your shoulder blades pinned against the pad, grab the bar with your palms facing forward using a slightly larger-than-shoulder-width grip.   Then, unlock the bar from the rack and hold it over your head with your arms extended. This is the starting position.  (First Movement)  Now, inhale as you slowly lower the bar behind your head by bending your elbows and bringing your arms down toward your sides.   (Second Movement)  Exhale as you use your delts to press the weights back up to the starting position. Tightly contract your delts at the top of the movement.   Hold the contraction for a moment, and then repeat the exercise until you have completed all of your reps.”   (General Tips)  If necessary, ask someone to spot you during this exercise. To avoid injuries, use light to moderate weights for this exercise.   When you finish your reps, carefully lock the bar on the rack.'
