'Picnic Food Safety: First With Kids - Vermont Children\'s Hospital, Fletcher Allen'

'Dr. Lewis First talks about safety during picnics and outdoor barbecues.  He discusses the importance of keeping children away from the grilling area before, during, and after barbecuing.  Dr. First says if your child is found in the vicinity of lighter fluid, you should immediately contact the New England Regional Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222.  Dr. First discusses food safety and the importance of keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold.  He said food should not be left out at room temperature for more than two hours and if you are not certain how long food has been out, it should be discarded.  Dr. First is a pediatrician at Vermont Children\'s Hospital at Fletcher Allen in Burlington, Vermont.'
